Since 1974, Mr. Moss has advised Plan Trustees, Labor Unions, Employers, School Districts, Municipalities, Third Party Administrators and Plan Consultants regarding all aspects of Pension, Health, Apprenticeship and Labor Management Cooperation Committee Trust Law. He has also represented Owners, General Contractors, Subcontractors and Design Professionals regarding legal issues arising during the construction process. Additionally, he has drafted and negotiated hundreds of construction contracts, real estate purchase and sales agreements, leases and financing arrangements on behalf of Owners, Tenants and the Construction Industry. He emphasizes dispute resolution in all his representations as being far preferable to time consuming and expensive litigation. Michael has belonged to the International Foundation for Employee Benefit Plans since 1982. He served as Chair of the Legal Advisory Committee of the Associated General Contractors of California. During his career, he has lectured and taught classes regarding both Employee Benefit and Construction Industry legal issues.

Michael graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara (B.A.) in 1971 and the University of Southern California’s Gould School of Law (J.D.) in 1974.


Lindsay S. Moss assists multiemployer trusts and single employers of applicable regulations under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, the Affordable Care Act, the Internal Revenue Code and other Federal Law as they apply to employee benefit plans. Additionally, Lindsay provides litigation support to other firms representing ERISA. Lindsay’s practice emphasis includes the preparation of plan documents, compliance with notice requirements and government filings.

Ms. Moss advises business owners in their day-to-day operations. Lindsay reviews and drafts purchase and sale agreements, employment contracts and leases for her clients. She also provides guidance regarding employment and governance issues that arise during the formation and operation of California businesses.

Lindsay graduated from Bucknell University (B.A.) in 2005, and the University of California Hastings College of the Law (J.D.) in 2009. In 2015, Lindsay was named by Superlawyer as a Northern California Rising Star.
